Have you ever had one of those days where nothing (food wise) sounds good to you? You don’t want anything greasy & unhealthy. You don’t want anything heavy. The thought of a salad puts you over the proverbial edge. You know what you don’t want. But for the life of you, can’t figure out what you do want. Ever had one of those days? Anyone???
Today was that day. I must admit, I’m usually pretty food driven. The mere suggestion, whether verbal or pictorial, can get me hungry and craving a wide variety of things. I’m easy like that. But not today. Not even with the hours spent perusing Instagram, checking out my fellow foodies’ post (this has gotten me into culinary trouble the last few weeks). Nothing. I. Feel. Nothing. For. Food. 😦
Knowing I had to eat something, I went for the only thing that even remotely piqued my curiosity… a Bagelwich. There is something comforting about a bagel that is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and has cream cheese, tomato, onion, sprouts and cucumber sandwiched between. Now my belly is content. 🙂
Now to agonize over what’s for dinner….
