Cupcakes!! Is there anything sweeter than a precious little cupcake, perfectly frosted and delicately decorated!? Literally and figuratively!? I think not. 🙂
Anyone who knows me (I mean, really knows me! Though that’s not very hard – you just have to pay attention! ;)) knows I have fascination, ummm well, eh hem.. OBSESSION, with cupcakes! I have been known to buy a cupcake purely for the sake of photographing it. Yep, that’s right. I let the cat outta the bag. I didn’t eat it. I only photographed it. Famous last words. HAHA!
While I’m on an “let’s be honest” kick, I also don’t bake cupcakes very often! Yes, you read correctly. Sorry to disappoint. Quite frankly, I’m not big on baking. Period. I just like the looks of my KitchenAid mixer sitting on my counter. 🙂 Have I made cupcakes? Hell yes. Honesty still runnin’ thick… my Pineapple Upside Down cupcakes were the mutha truckin’ bomb! Will I make cupcakes? Of course. For special occasions. 😉 But I have no problem leaving the kitchen mess and clean-up of baking to someone else so I can swoop in and capture the beauty and essence of such a sweet treat.
