You know that dish that you really shouldn’t eat, but can’t help but eat because it’s just too damn good to pass up?? Yep, that’s these potatoes! Sinful Potatoes didn’t get their name because they’re healthy for you! Not only are they sinful, they’re to die for and they’re super simple to prepare if you purchase already grated cheese.
My family usually only prepares these potatoes at Christmas and Easter and doubles the recipe so that there are enough left-overs to send home and enjoy in the day (rarely days – plural :)) to follow!
Sinful Potatoes
2 lbs Southern or O’Brien Style Hash browns – thawed 20 min
½ cup melted butter (1 cube)
½ cup chopped onion
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
2 cups grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese
2 cups Sour Cream
Seasoned Bread Crumbs or Panko
Mix all ingredients together, except for breadcrumbs. Place in 9×13 baking dish. Sprinkle to cover with breadcrumbs, bake uncovered @ 350 for 1 hour.
Enjoy!!!
